The following are general guidelines. For more information, please check out The LINC Guideposts.
TThe LINC program enables you to interact with people within the Bulldog family and community. Your LINC Buddy will be committed to ensuring that you receive the best experience that Mississippi State has to offer. In this program, we hope you will not only discover new valuable friends, but that you will expand your knowledge of a different culture, its communities, and its history and people
Enhance your journey at Mississippi State University by joining the LINC Program. When you join the LINC Program, the Holmes Cultural Diversity Center will match you with a LINC Buddy, a local family/individual or student, that will help you explore U.S. culture, Mississippi State University and the Starkville area.
Throughout the academic year, you will meet monthly with your LINC Buddy to reinforce your multicultural awareness.
LINC Buddies are local families/individuals who are alumni, faculty, and staff or domestic students of MSU and from the Starkville community who care about your success as a Mississippi State University student. Our LINC Buddies want to learn about you and your culture. Take them on a journey to explore your country by signing up to be part of the LINC Program.
We invite you to make these international students members of your family, too, by joining the LINC Program.
